About Carnegie Hall
Carnegie Hall has a rich and storied background as a premier venue for the performing arts. It opened its doors on May 5, 1891, with Pytor Ilych Tchaikovsky conducting in his American debut. Since then, Carnegie Hall has hosted everyone from famed jazz musicians to influential social crusaders.
Standing proudly in Midtown Manhattan, the acclaimed concert hall is an architectural masterpiece featuring a unique blend of design and exceptional acoustics.
It boasts three distinct performance spaces, including renowned Stern Auditorium and Perelman Stage, intimate Weill Recital Hall, and Zankel Hall. Each has its own distinct feel and welcomes a wide range of artists.

Now young student musicians have an opportunity to share the same stage as the legends who came before them as part of the New York Invitational.
Experience the thrill of performing at one of the most recognized venues in the world! Students will work with an esteemed educator to fine tune skills before performing at Carnegie Hall.

Disney Theatrical Workshop
If your group wants to dig a little deeper into the art of the theatre, try a Disney Theatrical Workshop. Running at an itinerary-friendly 90 minutes, these workshops are led by expert Disney Teaching Artists and allow the group to explore the mechanics of a performance – from on stage to behind the scenes.
SUMMIT One Vanderbilt
SUMMIT One Vanderbilt blends art, architecture, and technology to create an observation experience like no other. Explore the fully mirrored interior of a platform that floats a breathtaking 1,100 feet above Madison Avenue.

Ellen’s Stardust Diner
Ellen’s Stardust Diner is home to the original world-famous singing waitstaff, the Stardusters, and some pretty fantastic food! Students will love the energy and excitement of the Stardust performances – whose singers often go on to star on Broadway!
Intrepid Museum
Add a teachable moment to the itinerary at the Intrepid Museum. Students can interact with our nation’s heroes face-to-face as they explore the legendary aircraft carrier and its fascinating exhibits.

Lower East Side Tenement Museum
The Lower East Side Tenement Museum is a landmark building that tells the remarkable story of immigrants to New York City between the 19th and 21st centuries. Travel floor by floor through the personal experiences of those who actually lived here.
Couple this experience with a trip to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty to help students understand the role of immigration in our nation’s evolving identity.
Chelsea Piers
These once busy piers on the Hudson River had fallen into ruin until the mid-1990s. That’s when the 27-acre riverfront property began its renaissance. Chelsea Piers is now a bustling, vibrant entertainment and sports complex packed with activities perfect for students. There’s bowling, indoor ice skating, batting cages, a rock wall and more.
